Leaving NLC for Teachers & Associated Professionals

Whether retiring or leaving NLC another way, we are sad to see you go. However, there are some things you need to be aware of to ensure you get the correct pay on your departure and all parties know well in advance of your leaving date.

Remember, if you are retiring and in the SPPA pension scheme, the scheme needs at least 3 months notice of your leaving date. That means you need to give your line manager and the Employee Service Centre at least 4 months notice to ensure everything is processed in time.
