You will receive your contract of employment prior to starting in your new role. It will contain all the relevant details relating to your post and point you to specific things you may need to be aware of.
Please ensure you read the detail of your contract carefully and soon after you receive it. If you have any questions about your terms and conditions, please contact the Employee Service Centre.
You will be required to confirm you have read and understood the contract of employment and sign and date it, returning it to the Employee Service Centre.
The terms and conditions for local government employees is contained in a document called Schedule A, see below.
