COVID-19 Positive Test Employee is unfit for work due to positive test and unable to work from home Absence>Sickness Sickness COVID-19 Positive Employee must provide evidence of positive test result or fit note. Employee will receive full pay based on their entitlement. First 5 days of absence will not count towards absence triggers. Long-term absences will be managed as normal through the appropriate Attendance policy
Long or Post-viral COVID related sickness absence Employee whose reason for sickness absence is Long COVID or post-viral COVID as defined by a fit note Absence>SicknessSicknessLong COVID Employee will receive full pay based on their entitlement. Long-term absences will be managed as normal through the appropriate Attendance policy
Reaction to COVID-19 vaccineEmployee reports absence as the result of a reaction to a COVID19 vaccineAbsence>SicknessSicknessCOVID-19 Vaccine ReactionEmployee will receive full sick pay for the duration of absence. Long-term absences will be managed as normal through the appropriate Attendance policy

Absences of this nature should not last any more than 1 or 2 days
