NLC will contractually enrol a councillor into the Strathclyde Pension Fund Office (SPFO).
Where a councillor wishes to opt out or to make changes to their contributions for example, they can contact the SPFO using the same process as NLC employees. Further guidance on this can be found here on the auto enrolment page on the myNL website.
