Managing New Starts

It is important that new employees starting in our teams feel welcomed and that we are prepared and ready for their arrival.

It is also important they have an induction plan, both ensuring they have a good grasp of our Council and how it works and also they understand their new team and the relevant health and safety and employee policies and procedures.

See below for a number of documents to help you get your new staff member off to a great start.

For ID badge requests, each service will have an identified contact. Your manager should be able to advise.
