Work Local

In support of the cost of living challenges, NLC are launching a ‘Work Local’ campaign, opening up more of its facilities for staff to access during the day and in the evenings.

If you are a Hybrid Worker, you may choose to work in a space closest to your home to reduce your commute or to avoid heating your home further, but we are keen to give you the choice where possible and in discussion and agreement with your line manager. In general, access to these spaces will be outwith your 6 days (pro-rata) in your normal office base.

For those working in frontline services, the provision of additional drop-in spaces for your break or where you may be able to get free tea and coffee to help keep you warm at any time of the day will also be included.

Please be aware that some spaces and rooms within these facilities are bookable by members of the public.
