Occupational Safety & Wellbeing
Information on health and safety topics to ensure the Council complies with the law in our everyday activities.
Health and safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace. These pages aim to provide you with the necessary information to allow you to comply with health and safety law and any procedures which have been put in place by the council as your employer.
Previously the Council had a corporate safety team and service based teams. Following a recent restructure there is now one centralised Safety & Wellbeing Team who provide help and advice across the full Council. The team have been allocated to specific Services but can provide advice and assistance to any service who requires it.
