As part of our ambition to develop fully integrated town and community hubs in locations throughout North Lanarkshire, the first phase will launch on Monday 29th November 2021.
We are maximising the use of our existing assets to provide shared hub facilities for agile staff. If you’re classified as an agile worker, this will offer you more choice when you’re active in our communities.
At Cumbernauld theatre you’ll find space in the café area on the ground floor, and on the first floor there’s a small hub with some bookable desks, collaborative space and a meeting room. Every hub has corporate broadband and wireless connectivity and toilets. You can buy tea and coffee from the machine at the café bar – staff get a 50% discount and you can pay by cash or card.
You can see the layout and what’s available in the floorplan. All hub spaces will be open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. On Saturdays the ground floor café area is open in line with the Theatre opening hours of 10.00am to 8.00pm – check the theatre website for the latest information. NOTE – Opening hours for the hub space will be extended in the coming weeks as NLC venue attendants are hired – look out for an update.
