Pay
Employee’s must submit pay claims through their mySelf account. An infographic demonstrating the process can be downloaded here.

Recruitment

You can find internal vacancies via mySelf under Web Recruitment, this will allow internal applicants to search and apply for jobs. For external candidates, to find roles within NLC they can visit myjobscotland. More information regarding the recruitment process can be found here.
Leavers & Retirement
For Unpromoted and Associated Professionals 4 working weeks’ notice is required.
For promoted posts an 8-week period of which 4 must be working weeks are required.

When logged into mySelf click on the face icon to view your profile. At the top of the screen select ‘Employment’. Click on the post you wish to resign from to view information about the post. At the bottom of this page there is a ‘Resignation notification’ complete this. Please note if you have multiples posts and wish to resign from them all, click the box beside ‘Resign from all positions’ .

Employee Change Forms have been developed as a replacement of the Notification of Change Form.

Unfortunately for now teachers and associated professionals are unable to Buy or Bank Leave.
Single Status staff within educational establishments can Buy Leave, however due to the nature of holidays cannot Bank Leave.

In the first instance the employee should contact the Union directly.
Once they have done this, they should email ESC-HelpDeskTeam@northlan.gov.uk to inform ESC of the change.
